Gabriella is a warm and empathetic Registered Psychologist with experience working in both clinical and community settings, supporting clients presenting with various difficulties across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds. She has special interest in mood disorders, anxiety disorders (including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic, and phobias), OCD, bipolar disorders, interpersonal and relationship issues, stress, trauma, and ADHD.
Gabriella engages in client-centred therapy that acknowledges and validates her client’s individual strengths, difficulties, and personal goals, making sure to utilise the therapeutic approach that best fits her client’s needs. She uses a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Gabriella is passionate about providing a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic environment where her clients feel safe, supported to overcome their difficulties, and empowered to achieve their goals. She does this by supporting her clients to understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviours, equipping them with a variety of helpful strategies, and guiding them to make lasting life changes.
