Kristi is a Registered Psychologist with a background in working with youth, adults and families. Kristi is trained and experienced in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of psychological issues including anxiety and mood disorders, low self-esteem, relationship issues, loss and adjustment, stress and anger management, and trauma. She draws upon a variety of evidence-based psychological interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Attachment and Mindfulness based therapies.
Kristi has gained experience through working with a diverse range of clients within government-funded and private practice settings. Kristi is mindful of the unique nature of a therapeutic relationship and places emphasis on creating a safe, collaborative space for clients to explore their concerns, build insight and self-compassion, and create lasting change. Kristi enjoys reflecting on a client’s strengths and values whilst helping them work towards overcoming challenges, achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
Kristi runs her own independent private practice and engages Fremantle Clinical Psychology and Counselling to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide psychological support to her clients.
